Tigers Salute Heroes with 7-3 Victory; Pietrantonio Nets Hat Trick

STONEY CREEK, ON — The Stoney Creek Tigers celebrated their local heroes in style on Saturday night, delivering a decisive 7-3 victory over the Dundas Real McCoys in front of a spirited crowd for First Responders Appreciation Night.

While the evening was dedicated to the Hamilton Police, Fire, and Paramedic services, the Tigers' top line stole the show on the ice. Josh Pietrantonio led the charge with a Hat Trick, while Cordell James dominated with a massive 5-point performance (1 Goal, 4 Assists).

Despite the lopsided score, goaltender Daniel Svedin was the difference-maker early on. He faced a barrage of rubber, stopping 49 of 52 shots as Dundas outshot the Tigers 52-37.

The game remained tight with a 2-1 Tigers lead heading into the third, but Stoney Creek’s offense exploded for five goals in the final frame—including the game-winner from Dylan Madge—to seal the win. The victory improves the Tigers' league-leading record to 10-1-2
